Our story with Medicinal Mushrooms: how everything came (back) to life

Anyone who knows our Medicinal Mushroom-based food supplements knows how much we care about guaranteeing excellent customer service while maintaining high quality standards. Today we have also decided to tell you the story behind the scenes, where our dedication comes from, making you participate from the start in the development of our passion for these wonderful gifts of Nature: Medicinal Mushrooms.

Our company was founded in November 2009 with the name: "Funghi Meravigliao". Our registered trademark has evolved over time into: “Funghi Energia & Salute”, the name by which our customers have always known us for our Medicinal Mushroom supplements.

The name "Meravigliao" indicates our enthusiasm for Mycotherapy: a real Wonder that testifies to the healing power of Nature!

The search for a natural solution, not only for symptoms, but definitive and significant for the small and large health problems that affect many people nowadays has always been our goal. But all the solutions we used before discovering Medicinal Mushrooms supplements only provided partial benefits.

Discovering Mycotherapy, in the early 2000s, was cathartic: it revolutionized our personal and professional lives by making great changes to everything we had relied on up to that moment to keep us healthy.

In fact, the discovery of the powers of this discipline first started on a personal level.

This happened thanks to the passion for Mycotherapy, the studies and insights of our medical consultant Dr. Walter Ardigò, already a homeopath and acupuncturist, who helps people who wish to approach Mycotherapy through free personalized telephone consultations.

A married woman, mother of two girls, self-employed, during a period of enormous stress developed a subacute viral thyroiditis. According to the doctors she consulted, the thyroiditis had damaged the thyroid tissue, making it spongy, and this damage was irreversible.

We are talking about Nadia Franzinelli, psychologist and psychotherapist with a systemic-relational approach, today founder and owner of Funghi Energia & Salute S.r.l..

Nadia is a strong woman who does not give up. She is a woman who even in the dark looks for a glimmer of light, the so-called needle in the haystack ...

In the light of this diagnosis and motivated by her enthusiasm for life, she decided that the debilitating thyroiditis, as it had come, must go away.

In 2007, alongside conventional medical treatment (cortisone and Eutirox), she added Medicinal Mushrooms: Agaricus, Reishi and Cordyceps.

The endocrinologists, incredulous and amazed, gradually eliminated the medical treatment and in a few months, they declared her cured and she was allowed to stop her checkups in hospital.

Thanks to this experience, Nadia came back to life and fell even more in love with Mycotherapy.

Thus began a mission, a challenge: to spread the knowledge of the healing powers of Medicinal Mushrooms in powder form, also associated with conventional treatments. In this way she contributes her direct experience of healing in order to help other people to approach this natural treatment, often able to prevent illnesses and restore health.

Nadia talks about her experience:
